Blog Schedule

The current schedule is this: If I should miraculously get a bout of free time, I will write.

Below are the types of topics that used to rotate through the the old schedule, to give new readers an idea of to expect on this blog.  Not when to expect, just what:

Catholic Topics. They’re all catholic topics, aren’t they?  Could be anything at all relating to the faith — doctrine, practice, discipline, personal experiences, anything. If you aren’t catholic, please feel free to ask questions in the comment box; however I do not have time to engage in apologetics discussions.

A Glimpse Inside Our Homeschool. In which I share something that happened at our school recently.

General Homeschooling Topics. This is a little more abstract than the ‘glimpse’. Perhaps I tell you about how I plan our school year, or put together our daily schedule, or what curricula we’re using and why. Or else I might get into a homeschooling debate, discuss homeschooling in the news, or talk about one of the joys or struggles of being a homeschooling mom. Or anything else that is ‘general homeschooling’.

Castle News. What we’ve up to for the past month, and what’s on the calendar for the month ahead.

What I used to do with 5th weeks: Anything at all. In other words: I haven’t decided yet.  On my other blog, 5th week of the month is ’site maintenance’, when among other things I put up new links on the sidebar. If you’re a reader here, I’ll be happy to post your blog in my blogroll.

And a note about the combox: I do try to keep up with the comments, which historically has not been a very demanding task. If for some reason you post a comment and it doesn’t show up, don’t panic. It might be held for moderation (not all comments are moderated, but some are), or it might have fallen into the spam trap by mistake. If it doesn’t appear soon, re-post your comment, and include a note to me saying what happened.
